Chamonix Part 2
The gondola is working, and I take it up to a point adjacent Mont Blanc, the highest alpine peak, where I gaze at a craggy, snowy wonderland from 14,000 feet. |

Beaune (pronounced "Bone" with a 'nuh' at the end) is in the heart of Burgundy, surrounded by vineyards and medieval towns. There are several bike paths connecting the towns and vineyards. |
